ABOUT CORE FOR KIDS…

Welcome to Core For Kids! We run Pilates based classes for children/youth from 5-16 years old focussing on core strength, posture, co-ordination and muscle/body awareness. We work with local physiotherapists and schools for children/teens for group classes and 121 sessions as well. The sessions are fun, interactive and a great form of exercise that prevents injury and helps with balance and endurance. We also currently work with several schools in the area and am keen to work with more and help children/youth get stronger, fitter and healthier. Your child will benefit from over 20 years experience in the fitness industry and a Level 3 Pilates Instructor.

BENEFITS…

Children enjoy and benefit from the sessions whether they are needing extra help with co-ordination, posture, more body awareness and self- esteem or increased focus to challenge energies into one activity. The sessions are extremely beneficial for all involved in competitive sport and are keen to improve core strength to help with their other sports eg. gymnastics, swimming, hockey etc. We have also worked with Hertfordshire University focussing on hypermobility in children.
